FAQ
It's recommended to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before class starts so you can set up your mat, get settled in, and prepare for your practice.
You don’t need to be flexible or strong to start practicing yoga. The more you practice, the more improvement you will notice with each session. We offer a variety of beginners and level 1 classes throughout the week: check our schedules for more information!
It's best to avoid eating a heavy meal 2-3 hours before class, but a light snack 30 minutes to an hour before class is okay. Listen to your body and do what feels best for you.
It's always a good idea to bring your own mat, but we also provide BMat Everyday Lux Mat for our students to rent for $2 for your convenience.
Comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended. Many people prefer to wear leggings or yoga pants and a fitted top. Avoid wearing loose or baggy clothing that may get in the way during poses.
Besides your mat, you may want to bring a water bottle, towel, and any props you like to use during your practice (such as blocks, straps, or blankets). Some members also bring a change of clothes for after class. We offer keyless lockers and shower facilities.
